"My experience while studying in UIC gave me deeper knowledge on each assignment. Instead of only memorizing theories, we have to understand it as one holistic concept. Also, the assignments which delivered to us were so practical and real, based on the factual business situation. It absolutely requires us to apply our knowledge directly into the current business situation".

" You'll hardly ever find an impartial explanation of a college, especially not from someone who has actually studied there and this will indisputably be no exemption as your ‘alma mater’ always has a place in your heart. However, I am going to endeavor to reflect on the excellent of the UniSadhuGuna International College (UIC), to be able to give prospective students a better insight of what it is like to be a student here.

For me, UIC is more than a place to study, it is more than a place to enhance knowledge and skills, but it is a place to share ideas with a bit of fun and connects people together. It is the right place to pursue your degree, indubitably. UIC prepared us to enter the global community with the excellence quality of teaching that the lecturer provided and the real life experiences that they shared. UIC gave us the best education for our future, offered us an opportunity to go to United Kingdom, to persist our degree, and helped us to achieve our goals and objectives. In UIC, we worked as a team, rather than individually, which conferred us more conscientiousness and responsibility, which has altered my life to be a better grown up person.

In addition, I really am satisfied for what I have learned for the whole 2 years in UIC, because now, I have gained more confidence and found it effortlessly to cop with my studies in UK. A big thanks to UIC, without you, I might not be here, in a place where I wanted to be. I am glad to spend my whole 2 years with you and I would not regret it for the rest of my life."

Q: Is it difficult to adjust the life style and 'catch up' study at the University of Nothumbria?

A: For me there’s no difficulty to adjust with the lifestyle when u living in UK. There will be many students that will have the same lifestyle with you, you’re task just to find and trying to mingle with them. There will be slightly different method of teaching and learning between Northumbria and UIC since that in Northumbria we as a student should responsible for every single thing from the module that we should take until the process of doing dissertation or final project. Student must be interactive with lectures and staffs in uni.

Q: It is easy to make friend in the international classroom?

A: It depends with how confidence you are to make a friend with other student especially with local or other international students. For me, I have a lot of international student friends that I know from outside the class.

Q: Is it possible to work part time while you study there?

A: It’s quite easy to get a part time job in here if you can manage your time between work and study. Most of my friends are having part time job.

Q: Are the career advisor at the uni really help?

A: I went to career service three times while I’m studying in Uni, but personally I think they are not really good to support student with enough information that we need

Q: Do you have a good time there?

A: Absolutely yes.. I spent almost a year in uni and for me it was the best experience so far. I enjoyed being student with their lifestyle.

Q: Are you happy studying there?
A: Its both a happy and sad thing. I love the international environment, and the fact that Nottingham is located far away from the city makes it a conducive place for serious studying. The only thing is that, as most of the student put it here, the study load in this uni is crazy, u get to study on xmas& new year. Haha. But its worth it though!

Q: When u finishes your study?
A: July 2011

Q: Did you easily get along with your friend?
A:On the walkway from your accommodation to your classes, you'll get people greeting you, yes they're very warm here!

Q: What subject do you find most difficult to deal with and which one is easier?
A:When the lecturer give fewer books to read and more journals, it is harder to score in that subject. and of course, finance had been quite a trouble.

Q: Can you get a part-time job there?
A: Yes, but we'll have to make a work permit on our expense. Its not recommended though, coz this University is far from town and the studying pressure is quite big. However, you can get extra money if you want to be a part time librarian, they pay you quite good.
