About BTEC HND
UIC is the only Approved Centre in Indonesia that provides the two-year BTEC HND internationally-recognised qualifications in Graphic Design, as awarded by Edexcel.
Edexcel is the UK’s largest awarding body that provides both academic and vocational qualifications, recognized by employers and universities around the world. Edexcel was formed by the merger of the Business & Technology Education Council (BTEC) and the University of London Examinations & Assessment Council. Edexcel is regulated by the Qualification and Curriculum Association, a body recognised by the Ministry of Education, UK.
Today, Edexcel has offices in over 110 countries. Whether a program is delivered in London, Kuala Lumpur or Dubai, core units and learning outcomes are identical, awarding candidates with a globally standardised and recognised qualification.
The underlying principle of the BTEC HND is ‘learning by doing’ so the curriculum comprises many assignments and tasks, with an emphasis on ‘real-life’ experience. Continuous assessment is the main system of grading.
BTEC HND Program students are equipped to think laterally and practise a problem-solving approach. This helps ensure that UIC graduates are among the most employable in the country.
