UIC Creativity festival in corporation with PT. XL Axiata, Tbk. and Forum Desain Grafis Indonesia (FDGI)
Thursday 13 October 2011,UIC Creativity festival in corporation with PT. XL Axiata, Tbk. and Forum Desain Grafis Indonesia (FDGI) held a creativity festival that consist series of academic activities such as Marketing Planning Competition, Young Entrepreneur Competition & Young Designer Award Competition. In addition, the event that day is also marked by a seminar in design with theme “ Breaking the creativity code: Becoming a Design Professional”.
fX lifestyle X'nter, 6th floor was the best place for Unisadhuguna International College to hold the event as it was aside of UIC Design newly established campus. The creativity festival day is indeed a day full of creativity. UIC Business and UIC Design students were seen enduring enthusiasm during the event, the design artwork exhibition area were full with the pleasing artwork of UIC Design students, meanwhile with the same excitement UIC Business, Business strategy class students were seen busy preparing the exhibition booth to present their innovative business concept. The marketing class students were also enthusiastically preparing their marketing presentation to PT. XL Axiata, Tbk.. A line of business booth, and artistic design exhibition area were the highlight of that day. The ground breaking work of the UIC Business & UIC Design students is the proof of youth revolution, how the new generation will bring significant changes to our world with their creative innovation. This is another evident of the practical based learning system implement in UIC.
PT. XL Axiata, Tbk. in the competition is taking part as the case contributor to UIC students assignment both business and design subjects. Student are assigned to work on various aspects such as the Marketing Plan for XL Jagoan Muda product. Packaging design and aside of that PT. XL Axiata, Tbk. was also challenges UIC Business students to propose a business concept which showcased in the Young Entrepreneur Competition.
